Commercial Snow Plowing in Rhode Island

Coastal Corp plows parking lots, access roads, loading docks and drive lanes for commercial properties across Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts. It's built for property and facilities managers whose sites can't afford to close. Snow is a construction problem, and we run it like the construction company we are.

What's included

Every paved surface the site runs on

Plowing covers the pavement that keeps a commercial property operating. Each area is mapped at the site walk and set in priority order in your snow plan. We plow for retail and plazas, industrial and warehouse sites, medical and assisted living, multifamily and HOA properties, office parks, distribution centers, municipal properties and auto dealerships.

  • Parking lots

Cleared to bare pavement, in the priority order agreed for your property.

  • Access roads

Site entrances and internal roads, so traffic can get in, around and out.

  • Loading docks

Dock aprons and their approaches, so deliveries and shipments keep moving.

  • Drive lanes

The aisles between parking rows and the lanes around the buildings.

  • Stacking

Snow pushed to the stacking zones mapped at the site walk. When the piles take your spaces, hauling and relocation take over.

How we run it

Owned loaders and plow trucks, sized to the site

We own our equipment and run it as a contractor, not borrow it as a side job. The fleet is 25+ machines, including 15+ plow trucks. That is what lets us scale to the site, and show up when the plow guys are already overbooked. Coastal Corp is trusted by four national and regional supermarket chains, regional real estate holding companies, a regional auto dealership group, a national food and beverage distributor and a building materials manufacturer.

Storm operations run 24/7. We track every system and stage crews and material ahead of the event, and equipment rolls on your trigger. Before the sun, the fleet's already out. Yours is the lot that opens.

The same machines do commercial construction, site work and excavation the rest of the year. They are owned, maintained and staged like a construction company's equipment, because that is what they are.

How it fits the contract

Triggers and service levels, agreed before winter

Plowing starts with a site walk. We walk your property and map surfaces, priorities and snow-stacking zones. Triggers, service levels and routes are then documented and agreed in your snow plan and contract before the first storm.

During the season we monitor every system and dispatch on schedule. After each event you get documented service records with independent weather verification: a clear summary of what was done and when.

The paperwork comes with it: correct certificates of insurance and additional-insured endorsements. Coastal Corp is insured through Liberty Mutual, is a SIMA member, and is registered in Rhode Island as GC-10237.
