Commercial Snow Removal and Ice Management in Warwick, RI
Warwick publishes a list of priority sidewalks. If your property adjoins one, you have 72 hours after a storm to clear it or sand it, and the city can do the work and bill you if you don't. The city also prohibits piling snow where it blocks a sidewalk, so where the snow goes has to be planned before the first storm. Coastal Corp keeps an office on Tollgate Road in Warwick.
Warwick snow rules property owners should know
Owners of lots adjoining a sidewalk on the city's priority list must remove snow and ice, or cover it with sand, within 72 hours after it stops.

On a commercial lot, a plow that pushes the lot's snow across the sidewalk creates the violation by itself. We set stacking zones at the site walk so every push has a place to end, hauling and relocation moves the snow when those zones fill, and sidewalk crews take care of any priority sidewalk along the property.
How we cover Warwick
A Warwick snow plan starts with where each pile will sit. Stacking zones, routes and priorities are mapped when we walk the property, then written into the contract with triggers and service levels before winter. During the storm our own loaders and plow trucks keep the piles where the plan puts them, storm operations run 24/7, and every event is documented in service records with independent weather verification. We take on commercial sites across Warwick, including along Post Road, Bald Hill Road, Tollgate Road, Jefferson Boulevard, Airport Road, Warwick Avenue and Centerville Road.
Who handles the streets
For the city's own roads, the contact is the Warwick Department of Public Works, Highway Division, at (401) 738-2003.
